Dash

December 11, 2005 - The engine bay is almost stripped as is the interior. Appropriate for the Christmas Season is the song Holy, Holy, Holy... this also describes the floorboards. The backseat floorboard is about to give way. Hmmm, remember Fred Flintstone's car? Bad news, the top mechanism is broken, like metal broken. I'll have to see if I can weld that too.

66 Mustang convertible engine compartment stripped
December 31, 2005 - The engine compartment is stripped of all bolt on items. The firewall is on pretty good shape and shouldn't require any patches. The left engine compartment panels are probably going to need to be replaced. The battery tray rusted through, but the apron only has a small patchable hole.

paperwork
December 31, 2005 - Although not clear in this picture, this was part of the build sheet. It was rolled up around the instrument cluster wire harness. The S/N matches the car and has data for trim, DSO, tires, trim, etc. It is mostly readable - amazing after 40 years.

on to January 2006, Happy New Year!
