January 1, 2006 - The dash is stripped except for the cigarette lighter and the wiper motor. With the shape of the cowl vents, the wiper motor and mechanism is going to have to come out in order to permanently repair the cowl area. Yep, that is the door glass laying on the seat.

to do - remove the door latch mechanism. I think I'll leave the driver door intact, so I'll have a template when I start putting things back together. the doors are too far gone to save.

January 28 - With the doors removed and the floorpans needing replacement, the frame needs to be supported while the uni-body is repaired. I fashioned these from some angle steel. They are bolted to the hinge bolt and the latch bolts.

February - March 2006 - The differential is out. The right leaf spring is being difficult. Little League season has slowed progress, but little things continue to get removed.

April - May 2006 - Little League and ASA Softball has all but stopped progress. These seasons are almost over, however about a quarter of my garage is being used as a nursery for 10 lab puppies.
