Car was purchased in October 1998 for $700.00. C code with automatic transmission and Sprint Package (68 sprint package had pop open rear gas tank w/o GT badge, GTwheels, fog lights and c-stripe). Originally yellow with black interior. Restoration started Late January 1999, finished June 18,1999.Over 800 man-hours labor ($16,000.00).

New body parts include full floor pans, drivers side torque box and rocker panel, rear trunk panels, outer wheel wells , front radiator support, inner fender panel at the battery. New front fenders, hood, valence , headlight buckets, full rear fenders, trunk,steel rear firewall, valence and light panel. All new chrome , new grill, fog lights, and rear lights. All new stainless steel bolts through out the car. Purple Powder coated brackets.

Suspension and drivetrain: Magna suspension front and rear, Magna shocks, new steering, sub frame connectors and power steering ram, pump, etc. 1973 351 Cleveland from a Q Code Grand Torino Sport, rebuilt with roller rockers, cam & Eldebrock Performer Plus intake, 750 Holley, Special order Street/Strip C6 from B&M + Starshifter. 3:55 rear axle + Auburn Locker (taken out plus replaced with 3.00).Custom ordered driveshaft. 2 Chamber Flowmasters on 2 1/2 " dual exhaust replaced original 4 1/2" Supertrapps ( tips still used at rear). Front and rear disk brakes from Stainless Steel Corp. New stainless steel brake and gas lines, new gas tank w/pump.Torque II 15" x 8 wheels w/BF Goodridch TA's. New tribar halogen headlights. Glasurit clear coat over Autumn Maple base coat plus sealer.

Interior: Humphugger console. Dakota Digital Dash. Kenwood AM/FM cassette head unit plus Kenwood 10 disk CD mounted in trunk with Bazooka Sub woofer. Front kick panel and rear package shelf speakers (Pioneer). New headliner and all new carpet, interior handles, etc. Pro Car sears + matching rear seat upholstery. Total parts cost ($30,000.00).

Awards won:(MCA) Usually competing in Modified Trailered 1964-1973. Local shows (less than 100 miles Modified Street Driven including undercarriage) Never driven in rain with a total of 900 miles since restoration.
1st place: Regionals in Savanna GA, Roanoke VA, Greensboro, NC, Carrollton , KY. (2 shows)
2nd place in MCA Nationals: Augusta GA, Virginia Beach plus one other (can't remember where)
2nd Place in 2000 Grand National in Raleigh-Durham.
